Step-by-Step Process to Become an LIC Agent

Follow 6 Simple Steps to Launch Your Career as LIC Agent

Step 1

Contact a LIC Development Officer (Like Me)

You’ll need a Sponsoring Development Officer to initiate your registration process. I will guide you personally at every step.

Step 2

Submit Your Documents

  • Aadhar Card & PAN Card
  • 10th Pass Certificate (Minimum Qualification)
  • 2 Passport Size Photos
  • Address Proof
  • Bank Passbook Copy

Step 3

Attend IRDAI-Approved Training

LIC will provide 25 hours of online or offline training, covering insurance basics, selling techniques, and LIC products.

Step 4

Pass the IRDAI Exam

Appear for a simple exam conducted by IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India). It's objective and easy to clear.

Step 5

Get Your LIC Agent Code

Once you pass the exam, you’ll receive your Agent License and unique LIC Agent Code. You’re now officially a part of the LIC family!
